Conscious Sedation

Conscious Sedation

The sedation process is carried out in our facilities by an anesthesiologist, under the authorization of the Department of Health, which combines mild sedation, anxiolysis, analgesia and amnesia to reduce the anxiety of the surgical procedure. Conscious sedation using nitrous oxide is a process by which the patient relaxes, without fear, responding to the dentist's verbal commands. Once the treatment is finished, the patient can return home after a few hours, following the instructions provided and with a contact telephone number to monitor the process. We also carry out dental treatments under intravenous sedation so that the patient does not find out about the intervention during its performance.
